Circa
160km or about 2hrs north of Sydney, the
Hunter region is known to be the wine region of NSW. Many visit the region on a day trip, but
certainly not advisable if you plan to wine taste and plan on driving. Hunter

Australia’s oldest commercial wine producing area, beginning wine production in
the 1830s.

vast variety of tasty cheeses, smokehouse goods, handmade chocolates (even
chocolate tasting) will pleasure your taste buds. The Hunter region is abundant
with beautiful cafes and restaurants which offer a variety of sumptuous menus
for your enjoyment.

activities to keep you entertained while you are in the Hunter region. You can
