- While in Lake Chichecter, visit the nearby Duncan Park with family and friends to enjoy a picnic lunch.
- About 30km north of Dungog is the Telegherry Forest Park
where you will enjoy walks along the walking trails past the waterfalls
along Telegherry River. This area is also ideal for a relaxed picnic.
There are some areas in the park which is suitable for swimming. - Barrington Tops National Park, ideal for
bushwalking. On your walks you will be able to see and enjoy native
flora and wild life inhabiting in this rainforest surroundings. - Drive 40km north west to Mt Allyn to enjoy super views from the mountain tops.
- 25km south of Dungog will take you to the historic village of Clarence Town.
