Blue Mountains

The breathtaking Blue Mountains World Heritage Area consists of one million hectares of towering forests, sheer sandstone cliffs, tremendous canyons, cascading waterfalls and tranquil bushland. Hunter Region

Circa 160km or about 2hrs north of Sydney,  the Hunter region is known to be the wine region of NSW.  Many visit the region on a day trip, but certainly not advisable if you plan to wine taste and plan on driving. Hunter offers some cosy accommodation to suit any budget. Therefore a 2-3 day visit is well worth it. The region is famous for producing the world’s best Semillon and Australia’s best shiraz.
