Relax at Peregian beach! article first appeared in www.ozehols.com.au, http://www.ozehols.com.au/blog/queensland/relax-at-peregian-beach/
About 13 kilometres south of Noosa Heads, lies Peregian Beach one of the lovely beaches between Noosa and Coolum. At the southern end of the beach you’ll find Peregian Environmental Park which bursts into a colourful array of wildflowers during spring time. On the western side of Peregian Beach lies Lake Weyba National Park. The southern extension of the Noosa National Park with its rich mix of coastal heath and scrub and stately rainforest is a sanctuary for a wealth of native flora and fauna.
In the centre of the quaint village of Peregian you’ll find a friendly ambience found in a village square where you will be able to experience the diverse range of shops, cafes and restaurants.
The Peregian community market is held on the second and fourth Sunday morning of each month where you can pick up local produce and crafts. You will be able to enjoy the sounds of a Sunday outdoor Peregian Originals concert where participating musicians are required to perform their own, original material (no covers allowed).
Peregian Beach and Noosa Heads are amazing destinations for a relaxed holiday, with plentiful self-contained holiday accommodation. Peregian main beach is a safe beach that is patrolled year-round.
