The Australian Capital Territory, popularly known as ACT, is the capital territory of the Commonwealth of Australia. It is located within New South Wales and about 3.5 hrs south west of Sydney. The capital state is 2400 square meters in area. Canberra which is the Capital of ACT is also the national capital.
