Forster is a popular beach side holiday resort located circa three and a half hours north of Sydney and just 20 minutes north of Smiths Lake.   • Bulls Paddock, which is part of Seven Mile Beach, south of Cape Hawke  also offer excellent surfing conditions.
If you are looking for a boat, canoe or Paddle Boats, there are several  outlets where you can hire these. Tiki boat shed, boat hire outlets on Breckenridge Channel directly behind Wharf St are a few options for you.

Do you enjoy walking?  Then you have to do the Bicentennial Coastal Walk, which takes you over Pilot Hill along Forster Main Beach, past ocean baths on Forster beach, through Benetts Head Reserve and past One Mile Beach to Burgess Beach.  Feel active and looking for a challenge? Then why not climb to the Cape Hawke Look Out? This is not an easy climb but those who take up the challenge will be rewarded with the most amazing views of twin towns Forster Tuncurry and beyond. This is well worth the challenging climb to the top.

Take a drive along the Manning River while you enjoy the scenery, play a game of golf, relax while canoeing or kayaking on the river. Enjoy lunch in one of the country pubs or maybe you might want to take your own picnic lunch and enjoy a relaxing lunch by the banks of the river.
