drive Lakes Way takes you through the rainforests standing tall on
either side of the road. As the scenic road approaches the pretty Smiths
Lake you will be so tempted to stop by at one of the picnic spots to
soak in the breathtaking beauty at leisure.




From Pacific Palms, it is less than two minutes drive to picturesque
Smiths Lake. The lake is brilliant for fishing, boating, water skiing
and for a myriad of sporting fun. Many who have been here will agree
that “Frothy Coffee Boat shed” area does seem like heaven on earth
offering beautiful scenery for miles on end across the lake. The lake
beach known as the Amaroo Beach is a wonderful spot for kids to have a
play and there is a park with play equipment near the boat shed for your
little ones.

beaches like Boomerang, Blueys and Elizabeth are just 5 minutes away
from Pacific Palms offering some of the best surfing fun. While the
beautiful beachside twin towns of Forster Tuncurry is just 20 minutes
north of Pacific Palms, the superb scuba diving spots and fishing areas
in Seal Rocks will be just 20 minutes south of Pacific Palms. You would
certainly enjoy a day spent in Seal Rocks. Take the walk to the Sugar
Loaf Point Lighthouse and enjoy a picnic at the base of the lighthouse.
The lookout point at the light house offer you some of the best 360
degree views of the rugged coastline and the inland vegetation.




While the ocean, lakes and inland waterways are just what the doctor
ordered if you are a water sporting enthusiast, the national parks are
equally inviting if you enjoy walks and love the joys of nature in the
rain forests and national parks like Booti Booti.  Staying here a few
