Just about one and half hours drive north of Sydney will take you to one of the popular coastal holiday destinations in New South Wales. Widely known as the Central Coast, the coastline offer you some spectacular beaches.

One of the well known beaches in the area is Avoca. It is a popular surf beach lined with towering Norfolk Island Pines. Avoca Beach has a relaxed atmosphere which is sought after by locals and visitors alike.
The beach area stretches almost two kilometres and incorporates both Avoca Beach and North Avoca Beach. Avoca is renowned as a fisherman’s paradise. A large rock platform at the southern end of the beach invites exploration and has formed a protected rock pool which provides a playground for young children.

You are able to hire aquabikes, pedalcats, kayaks, boats and surf skis when in the area.
There are heaps of other attractions too which includes barbecues and tables, grassed picnic areas, a children’s playground, casual cafes, fine dining restaurants and the Avoca Beach Theatre.
Avoca beach is patrolled every day from October long weekend until the end of the April school holiday break. If you are driving, there is a public beachside car park and on street parking.

Many visit the area to stay a relaxing weekend or even for a few days. We invite you to stay in one of the many central coast accommodation, including central coast holiday rentals offered by OzeHols when you plan to visit the area.
